History
Sunday, October 18th, 2009Robb Wagner saw the need for inspired content, and in January 2005 started a company to produce high quality media for broadcast, live and theatrical entertainment. Stimulated was immediately recognized, being recruited by the “77th Annual Academy Awards”. The company’s varied and satisfied client roster grew throughout its first year. Stimulated went on to produce material for VH1’s “Big in ‘05”, the “58th Primetime Emmy Awards,” the “2005 MTV Video Music Awards,” and “VH1 Rock Honors.”
Stimulated’s profile and reputation continued to expand, highlighted by its work at ABC’s “American Music Awards,” Disney’s blockbuster, “High School Musical: The Concert Tour”, Fergie’s solo tour of the US and Asia, and its second annual “VH1 Rock Honors”.
In July 2007, Stimulated stepped into a new role as a leading edge technology company at “Live Earth: The Concerts For A Climate In Crisis“. The company became a go-to creative and technical resource for high quality visual media at major entertainment events. That same year Wagner worked alongside Director Bruce Hendricks, filming Disney’s “Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds” 3D Concert Film.
The following year saw Stimulated return for its third annual “VH1 Rock Honors,” featuring an all star line-up in a tribute to The Who, its second “Emmy Awards“, a Celine Dion special for CBS, the “2008 MTV Movie Awards” featuring Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls, and the “Super Bowl XLII Halftime Show”, the most-watched super bowl halftime show on record.
Recognized and respected for creativity, innovation and reliability, Stimulated was handpicked for “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” concert tour in 2009. Robb Wagner worked closely with Jackson and his Co-Director, Kenny Ortega, helping Jackson realize his dream for the tour. Jackson’s vision included state-of-the-art short films and visual effects sequences, which Stimulated produced in the months prior to Jackson’s untimely passing. Much of the work Stimulated produced with Jackson is featured in “Michael Jackson’s This Is It”.
Stimulated is unique for being adept in the creative and technical aspects of broadcast, live and filmed entertainment. The company continues to raise the bar in media production and exhibition, in a uniquely wide and ever growing array of mediums.
